Need Help?

Our templates work only with Adobe Reader. We've created these so that you are able to change your wording, font, and font color directly in Adobe Reader, but you will not be able to change the image colors or open the file in any other program.

Once you make your changes, you can print and then cut your invitations to size.

Our templates don't always work on Mac OS. We do offer free samples of each template for you to try first.

How to download and unzip a file:

1. Decide where you will save your file on your computer:

Before downloading it is a good idea to decide where you will save the download. Choose a folder or create a new folder and name it. That way you wont be searching for it later.

2. Download your files

To download use the right button on your mouse and click on the file link that you are downloading. From the menu that pops up, choose "save as" or "save link as"  (not Open) and choose a folder on your computer to save the file to.

3. Unzip your files

For faster downloads, we've started to zip many of our files. If you have a newer computer, then you most likely have unzip software installed, and you should be able to just double click on the zipped file to open it. You can also do this by using the right mouse button and clicking on the appropriate link on the menu that opens. For example it might say "extract" or "unzip" or "open with Winzip"

There is a free unzip tool here: Extract Now  if you don't already have one installed

How to format your template:

1. Open your Adobe Reader program and open your template through the program.

2. Select the wording you want to change. While your wording is selected, hold down the control button and hit e at the same time. This will pop up a formatting tool bar.

3. Change your wording and choose the font you want to use. You can also change the size and color of the font. Whatever change you make on one side will automatically be changed on the other!

4. When you have your invitations set up the way you like, click Save and save the document to your mydocuments folder or somewhere you will easily remember

How to print your template:

1. To print, click File and then Print

2. *Important: When the print box pops up, find Page Scaling. If it is set to Fit to Printable Area, change it to None.

3. Print your invitations and trim with a paper trimmer/cutter on the crop marks

Instant...easy...beautiful!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Do I need to buy special software to use these templates?

A. No. All you need is free Acrobat Reader. If you don't already have it, you can download it for free from Adobe here.

Q. There is a + (plus sign) at the bottom of my invitation, help!

A. This just means that you have too many lines on your invitation, and it is not showing them all.
You either need to delete a line or decrease your font size so that it will all fit, and the plus sign will disappear.

Q. How do I change the font, font color, etc?

A. It's easy! Just select the wording on the template with your curser and hold down the control button while you hit the "e" key.
This will bring up a formatting bar where you can change your font, font color, paragraph alignment, etc.

Q. Do you offer printing? I love your designs, but I don't have a color printer.

Yes, we now offer custom printing and cutting through our Zazzle Store here: Custom Printing

Q. I'm having my invitations printed at a print shop, but they say I need a "Print Release Form".

Most printers will require you to have a Print Release Form before they will print for you. Here is a link:

Troubleshooting:

Can't open template (or wording looks strange or changes):

Sometimes (especially with Mac OS) your computer will open a pdf in a program other than Adobe Reader. To make sure you are opening the template in Adobe Reader, please do the following:

1. When you are prompted to click "Save" instead of "Open", and save your template to your computer (mydocuments, etc.).

2. Then open your Adobe Reader program.

3. In Adobe Reader, click on "File" and then "Open" and open your template that way.

Unable to change colors of images:

Adobe Reader makes it very easy to use our templates. You will be able to change your wording color and size, etc., but you won't be able to change the image or background colors. We can change the colors for you, though. Just fill out our Customization request form on the product or category page.
